BNB Beacon Chain Decommission — Action Required for BEP2-TUSD Holders
Dear users,
According to the BNB Chain’s official announcement, the BNB Beacon Chain is scheduled to be decommissioned at the end of June, with all its assets delisted at the same time. As BEP2-TUSD (TUSDB) was previously issued on the BNB Beacon Chain following its token standard, we are now calling on all TUSDB holders to convert their BEP2-TUSD into TUSD tokens of other network standards at the earliest time possible to prevent any asset loss. Below are two exit routes for your reference:
Option One: Conversion via Binance
This is the option recommended by the TUSD team. BEP2-TUSD deposits are now available on Binance, and before the closure around June (with the specific details to be based on the exchange’s official announcement), users are able to deposit their BEP2-TUSD tokens onto Binance for conversion. Tokens deposited can be used for trading or other Earn products. Users do not need to take any further action after the deposit, except to select TUSD tokens of other networks upon withdrawal. Binance currently supports the TUSD of ERC20, BEP20, and TRC20 standards.
Option Two: Redemption via TUSD’s official website
As BEP2-TUSD is a native token issued by TUSD, holders are entitled to redeem their tokens via the official website of TUSD. Users who have signed up for TUSD accounts and successfully passed the KYC verification can redeem their BEP2-TUSD assets through the official website of TUSD (app.tusd.io) by April 30. Before you redeem your assets, please contact support@trueusd.com for our one-to-one customer service.
The first option will become invalid after June and the second after April 30; please take action promptly to avoid asset loss.
